Superior Hiking Trail - Southern Terminus at MN/WI Border

Description

The southern end of the SHT. From here the trail continues into Wisconsin as the North Country National Scenic Trail (NCNST). The SHT is part of the NCNST in Minnesota.

Southern terminus of the Superior Hiking Trail.

The SHT is part of the North Country National Scenic Trail. From the Minnesota/Wisconsin Border, the trail continues as the NCNST into Wisconsin.

Don't forget to sign the logbook.

This is what the old signage used to look like that marked the Southern Terminus of the SHT. Was replaced in 2019 or 2020 with the new sign.
